Fall Semester begins at The Center on August 29th
Make sure to register for Fall classes!
Masks are now optional for faculty and students at the Wyoming Fine Arts Center. The Wyoming Fine Arts Center may revert back to requiring masks for faculty and students based on changes in COVID-related circumstances, such as an increase in cases, new variants, etc.
By participating in an activity, event or class at The Center, you understand that there is an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 that exists in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death.
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, senior citizens and guests with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable. By visiting and participating in any activity at the Wyoming Fine Arts Center, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19. The Center will not be held responsible if a participant contracts COVID-19 while at the facility.
PRIVATE LESSONS: To cancel a private lesson, we require a 24-hour advance notice. Please make cancellations directly with the instructor or call our office if you cannot reach the instructor. Instructors are not required to make up more than one missed lesson each quarter, and only those lessons missed due to an emergency. Lessons missed due to other events (such as soccer, football, swimming, or some other outside activity) are not considered an excused absence. The make-up lesson will occur during the designated make-up week at the end of each quarter, or earlier if instructor is able to schedule it. Instructors are required to make up any lesson or class canceled due to instructor’s illness.
GROUP CLASSES (Art, Music Kids, Dance, Suzuki Groups) which are missed for any reason will not be made up nor refunded.
Withdrawal from classes/lessons: Once signed-up for a class or for private lessons, you will be responsible for the tuition payment for the full term for the class/lesson you signed up for. If you decide to withdraw or stop with classes or lessons mid-term (per published terms/semesters for the given school year), you will still be responsible for the tuition for the given term/semester. Please plan accordingly if you wish to stop with any class/lesson.

The Wyoming Fine Arts Center admits students of any gender, religion, race, color, nationality or ethnic origin to all of the rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to students at The Center. In addition, The Wyoming Fine Arts Center does not discriminate on the basis of gender, religion, race, color, national or ethnic origin in the administration of its educational policies, admission policies, scholarship programs or any other administered programs.
Occasionally the Wyoming Fine Arts Center may take photographs of its classes, activities and events. By participating in these events, you agree to allow The Center to use your image for our use for publicity and advertising purposes without compensation. These images may be used in marketing materials in print or online. Additionally, any photographs, videos, artwork, or any other materials created while you participate at The Center may also be used without any further compensation to you or any other third party.
If you would like to opt-out of usage, please notify the office in writing prior to registering for a class, event or activity.
The student enrolled and participating in classes at The Center or its satellite locations does so at his or her own risk. The Center will not be liable for any injury sustained nor will The Center be responsible for any medical expenses incurred as a result of participation in the class at The Center or its satellite locations.
We ask that parents escort children to their class or lesson and pick them up promptly when it is over. It is not the responsibility of the faculty or staff to supervise children outside of class time. You will be responsible for any damage to The Center property committed by your children when not in class.
This policy may vary from time to time due to COVID-19 and the social distance and capacity restrictions that may be required. Periodically, only students and faculty will be allowed in the building to adhere to CDC and public health restrictions.
In case of severe weather, please call the office at 513.948.1900 for a recorded voice message, visit our website homepage or check Local 12 TV or 700 WLW radio for cancellations. Classes will not be made up due to cancellations from severe weather conditions.
The Wyoming Fine Arts Center String Instructors offer a 10% discount for each additional family member taking private lessons within the same program. Sibling/family member discounts are also applied to additional registrants of the same class.
No sibling discounts are available for onsite Summer Camp programs in 2020 due to COVID-19 and the need to limit the number of students in the building.
The yearly registration fee is non-refundable. Tuition and class fees are refunded only where there is documented illness or injury and require a written statement from a physician or medical establishment. Class fees will be refunded if a class is cancelled due to insufficient enrollment to run the class.
Withdrawal from classes/lessons: once signed-up for a class or for private lessons, you will be responsible for the tuition payment for the full term for the class/lesson for which you signed up. If you decide to withdraw or stop with classes or lessons mid-term (per published terms/semesters for the given school year found here), you will still be responsible for the tuition for the given term/semester. Please plan accordingly if you wish to stop with any class/lesson.
All tuition payments or payments for services (lessons, classes, workshops, costumes, facility use, etc.) are due PRIOR to start of the lesson or class. Late payment fee will be assessed to tuition payments not received by the invoiced due-date. Stopping mid-quarter for reasons other than illness does not relieve the student from paying for the entire term of classes or lessons.
Payment plans are available but need to be arranged in advance.
Set up/Clean up
Standard rental time is four hours, but additional time will be allotted for set up and clean up. The renter is responsible for complete set up and clean up of the space. A renter’s checklist is provided to assure proper clean up. Failure to comply with this checklist will result in clean up fees being charged.
You are welcome to decorate the facility for your event. Balloons, streamers, etc are acceptable as long as they are removed after the event. Although we do provide tables and chairs, we do not provide table linens.
The Center does not have an elevator. Handicapped accessibility is very limited as every entrance into the building has a set of stairs.
Free parking is available in the public lot behind the building and also on Grove and Wyoming Avenues.
The building and grounds are smoke-free. Anyone who cares to smoke must do so outside the building.
If liquor/alcohol is served, the renter must supply evidence of $1,000,000 in liquor liability insurance naming the Wyoming Fine Arts Center as an additional named insured. A copy of the rider must be given to the office prior to the day of the event. Check with your insurance agent as soon as the date is verified. If you are selling liquor at the event, evidence of an Ohio State Liquor license must be submitted no later than one week before the event.
From time to time, the faculty and staff will post to social media projects from students to showcase the creative work being developed. This may include videos and photos of our students and their creative output. We currently post to Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and Vimeo.
Most posts will not have any identifying feature of the student, however, if we do post a picture of a student, we will only post the student's first name and age. We will never post someone's last name unless explicit permission has been granted by the parent.
Our team closely monitors all comments and will remove all negative interactions and we reserve the right to limit comments to a post or take it down. We take bullying seriously, both in house and online, and we have no tolerance for negative comments.
If you do not want your student to be posted, please notify the office prior to enrollment. We will honor your requests.
