We are excited to have both in person camps and online camps for you to pick your comfort level. Onsite camps have a strict policy for participation due to the conditions of the COVID-19 Pandemic. We have made adjustments to summer camps for the safety of your children and our staff.

What's the difference between a violin and a fiddle? Grab your instruments, don your cowboy hats and join us to find out! In this camp, we will explore the foundations of different fiddle styles, including old time, bluegrass, and Canadian, and identify what makes each one unique. Students will have the chance to learn classic fiddle tunes by ear, practice jamming and harmonizing, and master new rhythms and bowing techniques. Other activities will include dancing (an integral part of many fiddle traditions), discovering new acoustic instruments, creating music-themed crafts, and compiling playlists of the fiddle greats. In true old time style, the camp will culminate with a group jam on the front lawn. Please bring a digital recorder to camp.
